Finny George, MD
Dr. Finny George performs a variety of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, and he has special expertise in cancer reconstruction using microvascular surgery. Dr. George completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in an accelerated seven-year program at CUNY Sophie Davis and earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He underwent residency training in general surgery at the New York Medical College in Westchester, followed by a research fellowship at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. George then completed his plastic surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
Dr. George is experienced in such complex procedures as breast reconstruction using the DIEP flap, facial reanimation to improve facial paralysis, and lymph node transfer for patients with lymphedema.
