Louis H. Riina, MD, FACS
Dr. Riina received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Delaware and his MD from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel-Aviv, Israel before completing his surgical internship at Staten Island University Hospital. This was followed by a fellowship in burn surgery at the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, and a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Nassau University Medical Center.
He is board certified in plastic surgery and is a member of the American Burn Association and the International Wound Healing Society. Dr. Riina is involved in the training of Plastic Surgery residents at Nassau University Medical Center and is on the faculty at the Nassau University Medical Center Burn Center and the Southside Hospital Wound Care Center.
